Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Ber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarkko Ber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Wolfen! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ber fails with a takedown attempt. Wolfen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wolfen's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Wolfen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ber scoring with punches to the head and body. Wolfen keeping moving, preventing Ber from controlling successfully. Wolfen is trying to control the position but Ber postures up. Wolfen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ber manages to get himself to full guard.
Wolfen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wolfen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ber swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wolfen wants to pass the guard but Ber is keeping the position. Wolfen trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ber manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ber wants to control from the top but Wolfen keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfen is trying to control the position but Ber postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ber trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Wolfen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ber loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wolfen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ber is sitting in close to Wolfen's body. Wolfen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ber is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ber is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wolfen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Frank Wolfen! During a confident post fight interview, Frank Wolfen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
