Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leopold Dechamps! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Duplesris! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dechamps lands a jab. Dechamps ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duplesris moves away. Dechamps looks for a takedown but Duplesris sprawls well. Duplesris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Duplesris seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dechamps trying to control the position.
Dechamps looking to hit a scissor sweep but Duplesris is one step ahead there. Duplesris seems content to control from guard here. Duplesris should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Seth Duplesris wasn't active enough on the ground. Excellent takedown into side control there by Duplesris. Dechamps wants to control but Duplesris postures up. Dechamps trying to control but Duplesris flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Duplesris is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dechamps is defending well though. Duplesris let's go of the attempt for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dechamps manages to reverse the position and now he's in Duplesris's guard. Nice work there by Dechamps.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dechamps trying to control the position from guard on top but Duplesris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duplesris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dechamps. Dechamps prevents Duplesris from getting back to his feet. Dechamps looking to sit in guard and control but Duplesris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Duplesris controls from within his opponent's guard. Dechamps is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duplesris is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Duplesris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dechamps is trying to defend but Duplesris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dechamps trying to control but Duplesris postures up.
Dechamps is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dechamps has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Duplesris is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duplesris stands up out of the half guard. Duplesris fails with a takedown attempt. Duplesris misses with a takedown attempt - Dechamps sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Duplesris looks gassed! Dechamps tries for a takedown but Duplesris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Duplesris clinches up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duplesris manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seth Duplesris dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dechamps shoots in but Duplesris avoids the takedown attempt easily. Duplesris shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dechamps manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dechamps trying to control the position.
Duplesris is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Dechamps looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dechamps looking to control but Duplesris passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dechamps on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Duplesris looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Still in half guard, Duplesris seems content to control. Seth Duplesris has got the better of the ground game so far. Duplesris is thwarting Dechamps's attempts to control the position. Duplesris stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Seth Duplesris was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dechamps fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duplesris avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duplesris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dechamps gets back to full guard.
Dechamps lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duplesris! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duplesris is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dechamps moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Duplesris has worked his arm free - good work by Duplesris!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dechamps wants to control but Duplesris is keeping him busy. Duplesris tries to bench press Dechamps off him but Dechamps keeps the position. Duplesris takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dechamps throws an elbow but Duplesris slips to the side and avoids it well. Duplesris is looking for a sweep. Dechamps tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dechamps has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dechamps landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Dechamps has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Duplesris is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dechamps yanks on the arm and Duplesris is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dechamps.
