Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Headden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lewis's choice of entrance music: Justin Moore - I Could Kick Your Ass. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Headden backs up against the cage.
Lewis misses with a leg kick
and Headden counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Mark Lewis has been cut.
Lewis throws a big shot that misses.
Headden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lewis looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lewis scores with a decent looking hook.
Headden wants to clinch.
Headden throws a series of punches but Lewis avoids them all with ease.
Nice takedown defense from Lewis. No joy for Headden on that attempt.
Lewis misses with an uppercut. Headden saw that one coming.

and Headden counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Headden instigates a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Headden lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Headden breaks the clinch.
Headden misses with a jab, cross combination.
Headden bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lewis's head.

and Headden counters with a nice body shot.
Headden with a nice cross.
Lewis throws a big shot that misses.

A lazy body kick from Lewis

and Headden counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Headden looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lewis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Headden is working away from the top position though.
Lewis tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Headden has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Lewis tries to lock up and control but Headden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Headden looking to finish Lewis with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lewis!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Headden landing strikes from the mount.

That has opened up Mark Lewis's cut even more.
Headden cracks Lewis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lewis is rocked!

Mark Lewis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Lewis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
