The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kuka feints and then cracks sdsdsd's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow sdsdsd down.
sdsdsd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kuka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuka is fighting off a takedown attempt but sdsdsd is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kuka to the mat. Kuka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Kuka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in sdsdsd's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as sdsdsd holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, sdsdsd cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
sdsdsd is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! sdsdsd extends the arm and Kuka is forced to tap!
