Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tycho Van Braam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weed Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tycho Van Braam has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tycho Van Braam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Weed Man!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man tries for a takedown but Van Braam circles away easily
and Van Braam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Van Braam has a takedown stuffed.
Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Van Braam counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Man looking for a sweep. Not yet Man, not yet.
Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Van Braam manages to get himself to full guard.

Man wants to control from the top but Van Braam keeps moving.

Van Braam bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Man's guard.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Braam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Van Braam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Man tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Man isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Van Braam stacks Man on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Van Braam!
Van Braam throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Man avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Van Braam.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Van Braam decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Man, up you get!
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Van Braam holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tycho Van Braam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weed Man.

Van Braam tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Van Braam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Man swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Van Braam tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Man shoots in but Van Braam avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Van Braam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Man misses with a takedown attempt - Van Braam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Braam tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Braam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tycho Van Braam will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Man tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van Braam sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Man somewhat.
Van Braam shoots in but no luck this time.

Man looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Man has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Van Braam is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Weed Man comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
