And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake's corner calls for a 1-2. Blake obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Blake changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jobber looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Blake shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jobber manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Blake wants to pass to mount but Jobber is defending the position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's time! Jobber's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Blake ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jobber pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Blake shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jobber is trying to defend but Blake finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Blake tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jobber knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kerry Blake hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jobber pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Blake.
Blake is looking to take a break and control but Jobber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Blake lands some shots froms side control.
Jobber is not content to let Blake control the position.

Blake bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blake decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jobber to his feet.

Jobber pushes Blake away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Blake gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Blake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
