Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vicious Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Duddy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vicious Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Duddy! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duddy clinches with his opponent.
Duddy scores with a shoulder strike. Nixon has Duddy pushed against the cage. Duddy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Duddy blocks an uppercut.
Duddy presses Nixon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Duddy blocking some punches.
Nixon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nixon takes a swing at Duddy's ribcage but misses. Nixon lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like John Duddy has been cut. Nixon misses with a hook to the body
and Duddy counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Duddy slips a nice elbow through Nixon's hands, connecting with Nixon's forehead. Duddy throwing shots but Nixon is blocking nicely. Duddy trying to control the pace. Duddy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duddy missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nixon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nixon tries to get out of the position. Duddy passes the guard and advances to mount! Nixon wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Duddy.
Duddy controlling from the full mount. Duddy is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nixon is surviving well by controlling Duddy's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nixon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Duddy.

Nixon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duddy on the ground. Duddy looking to finish with strikes here!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Duddy raining down shots from the mount! Duddy working for a submission but Nixon is keeping him at bay. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nixon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Duddy.
Duddy thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Duddy content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duddy thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duddy looking to control but Nixon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Duddy has control of Nixon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nixon regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nixon is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Duddy dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Duddy's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Duddy misses with an uppercut. Nixon saw that one coming. Duddy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nixon circles away. Duddy slips under a jab from Nixon. Nixon tries to keep at a distance but Duddy has taken the fight into the clinch. Duddy leaning against his opponent.
Duddy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nixon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A right handed body shot lands from Nixon.
Duddy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nixon. Duddy jumps guard and drags Nixon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. John Duddy has got the better of the ground game so far. Duddy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Duddy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Duddy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Duddy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nixon doesn't defend quickly enough and Duddy has managed to lock this one up! Can Nixon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Duddy on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). John Duddy! A relieved looking John Duddy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
