Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Mc Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Coldcutts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Mc Carlton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Coldcutts!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coldcutts stuffs the takedown.
Mc Carlton fails with a takedown attempt.
Coldcutts misses with a two punch combination.
Decent striking displayed by Mc Carlton there.
Coldcutts goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like John Mc Carlton has been cut.
Coldcutts tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mc Carlton swivels and escapes.
Mc Carlton throws a sloppy head kick and Coldcutts moves out of range easily.
Mc Carlton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mc Carlton has managed to clinch.

Coldcutts ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Coldcutts no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Coldcutts is trying to control the position but Mc Carlton postures up.
Coldcutts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mc Carlton is controlling him.

Coldcutts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mc Carlton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Coldcutts shoots in and drives through. Mc Carlton sprawls well.
Coldcutts misses with a takedown attempt - Mc Carlton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
John Mc Carlton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Coldcutts.
Mc Carlton swats away the attempt to clinch by Coldcutts.
Coldcutts lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Coldcutts.

John Mc Carlton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coldcutts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mc Carlton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Coldcutts tries to close the distance and clinch but Mc Carlton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Coldcutts avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Coldcutts wants to clinch up but Mc Carlton keeps it at a distance.
Coldcutts takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

John Mc Carlton's cut is getting worse.
Coldcutts throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mc Carlton moves into range and clinches up with Coldcutts.
Mc Carlton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Coldcutts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mc Carlton gets through Coldcutts's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Coldcutts is trying to stall.

Coldcutts pulls guard effortlessly.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coldcutts is on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Coldcutts engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Coldcutts thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Coldcutts trying to control the position from guard on top but Mc Carlton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reggie Coldcutts dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Mc Carlton's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Coldcutts misses the shot to the body.
Mc Carlton lands a jab-cross combination.

Mc Carlton closes the distance and clinches.
Coldcutts is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Coldcutts tightens his grip and picks Mc Carlton up, before dumping him to the ground. Mc Carlton manages to land in guard.
Mc Carlton keeping moving, preventing Coldcutts from controlling successfully.
Coldcutts might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mc Carlton kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Coldcutts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Reggie Coldcutts has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Coldcutts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Coldcutts trying to control but Mc Carlton is working from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Reggie Coldcutts wasn't active enough on the ground.
No joy there for Coldcutts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mc Carlton swats away the attempt to clinch by Coldcutts.
Coldcutts tries to clinch but Mc Carlton is having none of it.
Mc Carlton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Coldcutts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mc Carlton's waist but Mc Carlton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coldcutts off to one side.

Mc Carlton tries to sprawl but Coldcutts drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mc Carlton wants to sweep but Coldcutts has passed to side control!

Coldcutts decides to stand back up.
Coldcutts moves in looking to clinch but Mc Carlton pushes him off.
Mc Carlton swings for the body but Coldcutts moves out of range.
Mc Carlton fails with the takedown.
Reggie Coldcutts seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Coldcutts shoots in for a double leg but Mc Carlton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
John Mc Carlton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Coldcutts.

Coldcutts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mc Carlton avoids it really well and circles away.

John Mc Carlton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mc Carlton missing with a left hand there. Coldcutts was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Coldcutts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mc Carlton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mc Carlton rushes Coldcutts and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Coldcutts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mc Carlton shoots in but no luck this time.
Mc Carlton blocks a head kick by Coldcutts.

Coldcutts gets tackled into the cage by Mc Carlton. Mc Carlton maintains the clinch.
Coldcutts tries a knee to the head but Mc Carlton blocks it.
Mc Carlton throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Coldcuttss head.

Coldcutts lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Coldcutts takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Coldcutts gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Coldcutts shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mc Carlton as he avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mc Carlton takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Coldcutts doesn't manage to clinch there - Mc Carlton circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Coldcutts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Coldcutts pushes Mc Carlton up against the cage in a clinch.
Mc Carlton is trying to break free.

Coldcutts breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mc Carlton.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice inside leg kick there by Coldcutts. That's going to slow Mc Carlton down.
Mc Carlton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coldcutts as he jumps to the side.
Coldcutts wants to clinch up but Mc Carlton keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reggie Coldcutts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Mc Carlton is squirming around, avoiding Coldcutts's attempts to control the action.
Mc Carlton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mc Carlton tries to get out of the position.

Coldcutts working for a submission but Mc Carlton is keeping him at bay.
Mc Carlton has given up his back. Will we see Coldcutts going for some submissions?

Coldcutts sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Mc Carlton taps out!
