Vergara comes to the cage accompanied by Bully. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vergara lands a nice shot that snaps Cocles's head back.
Cocles scoring well with a low kick there.

Vergara throws a leg kick but Cocles sees it coming and moves out of range.

Vergara throws a push kick but Cocles slaps the foot to one side.

Nice shot lands for Vergara.
Vergara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cocless jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Cocles gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Vergara connects with a body shot that sends Cocles's belly button to the back.
Cocles throws a head kick that misses.
Cocles looks up at the clock. Bad move! Vergara lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cocles. Vergara pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

After winning the bout, Frederico Vergara thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
