Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi drives through and clinches with Young against the cage.

Gomi tries a body shot but Young blocks it.
Young breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gomi shoots in but no luck this time.

Gomi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Young moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Gomi stalks Young and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Young's face. Young staggers backwards, shaken.
Yoshiro Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomi tries to clinch up but Young circles away and keeps his distance.
Young throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gomi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
