Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinando Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamison Burkina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ferdinando Ferrari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jamison Burkina!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burkina closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ferrari connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Burkina tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferrari swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ferrari changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burkina tries to avoid it but Ferrari manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burkina to the ground. Burkina escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ferrari closes the distance and clinches up with Burkina, looking for a takedown. Ferrari pushes Burkina against the cage but Burkina circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ferrari pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Burkina shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferrari tries to sprawl out of it but Burkina keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferrari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ferrari misses the jab.
Ferrari keeps the fight on the outside.
Burkina shoots in for a takedown but Ferrari shows good takedown defense.
Ferrari scores with a body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ferrari. That's going to slow Burkina down.
Ferrari scores with a jab to the body.

Ferrari misses with a two punch combination.
Burkina tries to clinch up but Ferrari circles away and keeps his distance.
Burkina shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ferrari is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burkina scores with a couple of nice shots.
Burkina winds up and cracks Ferrari with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ferrari is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burkina's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burkina's back!
Ferrari lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Burkina tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ferrari cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ferrari tries to control but Burkina wriggling away.

Burkina is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Burkina is in a horrible position here. Ferrari smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferrari with shots to the head and body - Burkina looks very uncomfortable down there.
Ferrari tries to control but Burkina wriggling away.
Ferrari in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Burkina really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Burkina is bucking up trying to escape but Ferrari cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

BOOM! Ferrari connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ferrari lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Burkina wants to control but Ferrari is having none of it.
Burkina can't escape the position.
Burkina is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ferdinando Ferrari decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
