Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iezaih Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Mcgarry struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Mcgarry! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mcgarry back to the cage. Morgan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Morgan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgarry is defended easily by Morgan. Mcgarry misses with a takedown attempt - Morgan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Morgan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcgarry, pushing him back against the cage. Morgan wants to get back to striking at distance but Mcgarry won't allow it.
Mcgarry gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mcgarry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Morgan wants to stand up but Mcgarry is controlling him. Mcgarry thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. This has been an exciting period of action! That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan has left one of his arms exposed and Mcgarry doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Morgan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
