Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finn Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Macarron Chacarron kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Hode! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Finn Murray! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray ducks under a wild hook from Hode. Murray thows a body shot but no joy. Hode connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Murray is rocked! Murray just misses with a punch to the body.
Murray is still on wobbly legs! Can Hode finish him? Murray cracks Hode with an uppercut from hell and Hode crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Murray's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Hode is rocked!
It looks like Scott Hode has been cut. Murray stopping the sweep attempt from Hode. Oh Hode is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Murray seems to have recovered his senses. Hode seems to have got his legs back now. Hode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hode is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hode throws his legs up looking for a submission but Murray uses it to pass to side control.
Murray wants to stand but Hode has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Hode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hode tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Murray presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Murray prevents Hode from getting the reversal. Murray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hode. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hode is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hode regains half guard. Murray escapes and gets back to his feet. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hode loads up on a big right hand but Murray slips the punch. An inside leg kick lands from Murray. Hode is breathing heavily. Both fighters circling a little - Murray finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Hode displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murray throws out the jab. Murray lands with a shot to the body. Hode shoots in for a double leg but Murray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Murray throws a head kick that misses. Murray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hode moves out of range as Murray throws a body kick.
Hode throws out a loose jab but Murray uses good head movement to avoid it. Murray connects with a stiff jab that staggers Hode - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
