Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ko slips a straight right by Mayhem.

Mayhem feints and as Ko raises his hands in defense, Mayhem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ko wants to sweep but no luck.
Mayhem wants to control from the top but Ko keeps moving.

Ko looking for a guillotine here but Mayhem defends easily.
Ko trying to keep a closed guard but Mayhem is proving a slippery customer.
Ko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ko tries to get out of the position.
Mayhem throwing strikes but missing.
Ko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mayhem is one step ahead there.

Ko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayhem on the ground.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ko tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mayhem connects with a nice short shot to Ko's temple.

Mayhem is stalling here. Ko is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mayhem seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ko has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mayhem is trying to control Ko's posture but Ko avoids it.
Ko takes a little break here. Mayhem wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ko fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Ko decides to stand back up.
No luck for Mayhem with that takedown attempt.

Ko keeps the fight on the outside.
Mayhem scores with a jab to the body.
Ko swats away the attempt to clinch by Mayhem.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mayhem has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mayhem and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ko drives through and clinches with Mayhem against the ropes.

Ko throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ko lands with a short shot to the head.
Ko is trying to maintain a safe position but Mayhem gets an underhook and turns Ko into the ropes.

Mayhem lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ko or not.
Mayhem doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mayhem tries a body shot but Ko blocks it.
Ko tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Mayhem misses with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ok Ko will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ko swats away the attempt to clinch by Mayhem.
Mayhem closes the distance but Ko moves to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mayhem looks to land a left hand but Ko moved out of range nicely.
Ko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mayhem circles away quickly and effectively.
Ko throws a hook but Mayhem blocks it.
Mayhem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ko manages to avoid it.
Mayhem scores with a shot to the body.
Justin Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mayhem in his tracks.
Ko takes one to the chin there.

Ok Ko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ko avoids the body shot from Mayhem.
Ko blocks a leg kick.
Ko takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Ko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mayhem jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mayhem. Ko does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ko throws an overhand right that lands on Mayhem's shoulder, as Mayhem tries to avoid the shot.
Mayhem slips under a jab.
Ko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Mayhem tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ko counters with a three punch combo that has Mayhem backing up. Mayhem nods at Ko to acknowledge the strikes.
Mayhem tries to clinch up.
Ko lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Mayhem can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ko and Mayhem drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ko.
