The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage scores with a nice right hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gage fails to land with a series of punches.

Gage gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Partner tries to free his leg and advance position but Gage is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gage looking for a guillotine here but Partner defends easily.

Partner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Partner lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Partner is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gage can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Partner connects with a bit shot that sees Gage covering up! More strikes from Partner and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Partner is our winner by TKO!
