Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izzy Stradlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Antonio Rizzo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Rizzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Izzy Stradlin!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rizzo closes the distance and pushes Stradlin back into the cage.
Stradlin tries to score a body lock takedown but Rizzo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Stradlin blocking some punches.
Rizzo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rizzo tries to stall but Stradlin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rizzo throws a head punch that misses.
Stradlin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rizzo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Rizzo tries a knee to the head but Stradlin blocks it.
Rizzo throws a head punch that misses.

Stradlin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Stradlin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stradlin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Stradlin prevents Rizzo from getting back to his feet.
Rizzo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rizzo tries to get out of the position.
Stradlin stands up over Rizzo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stradlin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stradlin slips nicely into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stradlin connects with a nice short shot to Rizzo's temple.
Stradlin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Stradlin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rizzo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Izzy Stradlin!
Our winner, Izzy Stradlin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
