Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sweaty Mullins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sweaty Mullins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Sparrow! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparrow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mullins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sparrow pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mullins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sparrow as he avoids it easily. Sparrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Mullins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mullins fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sweaty Mullins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mullins clinches. Sparrow's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sparrow is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sparrow is pressed up against the cage. Mullins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sparrow down to the mat. Sparrow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sparrow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mullins gets caught flat footed, as Sparrow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mullins controls Sparrow momentarily but Sparrow frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparrow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mullins tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mullins controls Sparrow momentarily but Sparrow frees himself. Mullins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sparrow tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparrow tries to hold on but Mullins postures up. Mullins goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sparrow turns into him and now he's in Mullins's guard.
Mullins pulls Sparrow in close to his closed guard and prevents Sparrow from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullins wants to sweep here but Sparrow controlling him for the moment. Mullins working for a triangle but Sparrow defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sparrow won't allow Mullins to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mullins is trying to control the position but Sparrow postures up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sparrow sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sweaty Mullins will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sparrow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mullins swivels and escapes. Sparrow tries for a takedown but Mullins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sparrow stuffs the takedown. Sparrow gets caught napping as Mullins dives in and scores a takedown. Sparrow manages to retain guard. Mullins with a flurry of punches that miss. Mullins trying to control but Sparrow is working from the bottom. Mullins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sparrow is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sparrow controlling Mullins's posture.

Sweaty Mullins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sparrow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sparrow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mullins tries to buck Sparrow off but he can't manage it. Mullins regains half guard. Mullins wants to get back to full guard. Mullins is trying to stand up here but Sparrow is controlling him well. Mullins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mullins is working hard here to advance position. Well, if Sparrow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Sparrow. Mullins misses with a double jab.
Sparrow misses with a takedown attempt - Mullins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sweaty Mullins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Sparrow. Sparrow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mullins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sparrow somewhat. Sparrow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mullins tries to avoid it but Sparrow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mullins to the ground. Mullins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mullins gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mullins pulls guard effortlessly. Mullins controls Sparrow momentarily but Sparrow frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sparrow won't allow Mullins to sweep him here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sparrow sitting in guard here, content to control.

It looks like Jack Sparrow has been cut. Sparrow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mullins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sparrow prevents a body shot from Mullins. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sweaty Mullins dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jack Sparrow's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mullins has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Mullins tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sparrow. Sparrow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mullins uses from the top position. Sparrow is trying to keep Mullins in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mullins is looking to take a break and control but Sparrow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mullins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mullins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mullins swings around for an armbar but Sparrow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mullins's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mullins wants to sweep but no luck. Sparrow looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sparrow won't allow Mullins to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sparrow tries to get to full guard but Mullins has control of the leg. Mullins is looking to stall here but Sparrow recovers full guard. Mullins looking to sit in guard and control but Sparrow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mullins controls Sparrow momentarily but Sparrow frees himself. Sparrow sitting in guard here, content to control. Sweaty Mullins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sparrow postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Sweaty Mullins showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mullins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
