Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rich Hil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pelayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hil might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Darryl & Joe- Run DMC. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hil misses the jab.
Pelayo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Peter Pelayo has been cut.
Pelayo throws a leg kick but Hil moved away.
Pelayo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pelayo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pelayo throws the kick towards the body but Hil avoids it.
Hil punishes Pelayo's body with a nice straight punch.
Hil delivers a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hil misses with a wild body shot.
Hil looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hil looks to land a left hand but Pelayo moved out of range nicely.
Pelayo throws a right and a left that Hil avoids nicely.
Pelayo ducks under a wild hook from Hil.
Hil looks to score with a jab to the body but Pelayo is just out of range.
Pelayo moves away from the strike by Hil.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hil swings widly with a right hand
enabling Pelayo to counter with a crisp jab.
Pelayo staying out of range there.
Hil misses with an uppercut. Pelayo saw that one coming.
Hil swings widly with a right hand
and Pelayo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hil misses with a right hand
and Pelayo counters with a left to the body.
Hil lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pelayo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pelayo is rocked!
Hil cracks Pelayo with a left hook right on the temple and Pelayo goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hil lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Pelayo is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rich Hil!
Rich Hil opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
