The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin is looking to land body kicks.
Bolden shoots for a double leg takedown but Martin sprawls well. He's pushed Bolden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bolden jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Martin avoids the body shot from Bolden.

and Martin counters with a thumping low kick.

Martin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bolden misses with a takedown attempt - Martin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bolden.

Bolden blocks a low kick nicely.
Bolden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martin's waist but Martin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bolden off to one side.

Martin throws a good cross that connects.
A chopping leg kick lands by Martin.

Bolden moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Martin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bolden off and has taken his back!
Martin connects with a big shot to the side of Bolden's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Martin. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Bolden looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Bolden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bolden rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Martin is looking for a kimura but Bolden is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Martin to get the leverage.
Bolden pushes Martin off looking to stand but Martin dives back in and keeps control.

Bolden is not content to let Martin control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bolden's thigh. Bolden counters though and makes it back to full guard.
