The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters misses with an uppercut.
van Vaart misses with a body kick.
Walters takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Walters swinging wildly here.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from van Vaart. Walters shrugs it off though.
van Vaart fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Walters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by van Vaart.

van Vaart lets loose with a powerful body kick. Walters will feel that in the morning.

van Vaart fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walters.

van Vaart is looking to slow Walters down with leg kicks.
Walters chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before van Vaart can pounce on him.
No joy there for van Vaart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Walters takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
van Vaart throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Walters on the side of the head.
van Vaart scores with a head kick. Walters tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

van Vaart lands a left and a right that send Walters crashing to the mat, dazed. van Vaart thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

van Vaart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walters manages to avoid it.
