Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis McEllar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jed Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Walker's choice of entrance music: God Demise. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Francis McEllar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jed Walker! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McEllar shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A punch combination from Walker misses. McEllar gets tackled into the cage by Walker. Walker maintains the clinch. McEllar manages to pull guard.
Walker wanted to stand there but McEllar had control of the position. McEllar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Walker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McEllar throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Walker stands and steps away. McEllar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Walker has taken the fight to the clinch.
McEllar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walker leaves McEllar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Walker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McEllar to the mat! McEllar manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker stands up and waves to McEllar to follow him. McEllar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walker as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francis McEllar. That's going to take a lot out of him. McEllar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McEllar gets slowly back to his feet. Walker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. McEllar is breathing heavily. Walker is looking for a kimura but McEllar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walker to get the leverage. Walker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Walker stands up from half guard. Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker stuffs the takedown attempt from McEllar. McEllar gets slowly back to his feet. Walker takes the fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McEllar tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.
Walker wants to get back to striking at distance but McEllar won't allow it.
Walker is working for takedown but McEllar is calmly controlling the position for now. Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Walker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McEllar has him pressed against the cage. Walker turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Walker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Walker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A jab from Walker finds it's way through McEllar's defenses. Jed Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McEllar sprawling to the canvas! McEllar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Walker finish him?!
McEllar is rocked!
It looks like Francis McEllar has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker fakes the body blow, causing McEllar to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! McEllar goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jed Walker!
