Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tore hultberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Anthony Head has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Head throws a series of punches but hultberg avoids them all with ease.
Head throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Head is breathing heavily.
Head shoots for a double leg takedown but hultberg sprawls well. He's pushed Head's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fighters circling - Head throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
hultberg gets a takedown into half guard.
hultberg wants to pass the guard but Head is defending well.
Well, if hultberg is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - hultberg has eaten all the pies!

Head wants to control but hultberg is having none of it.
hultberg has control of Head's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Head regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Head is squirming around, avoiding hultberg's attempts to control the action.
Head keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
hultberg is standing up, even though he is in mount.
hultberg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Head clinches up against the cage.

hultberg is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Head can't fight it off and eventually hultberg manages to take the fight to the floor. Head looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Head throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Head throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like tore hultberg has been cut.
Head lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
