Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Ashcroft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jax Morrow has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Ashcroft! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ashcroft misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Morrow.
Morrow stalks Ashcroft and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ashcroft's face. Ashcroft staggers backwards, shaken. Ashcroft shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morrow as he jumps to the side. Some wild striking there from Morrow.
Ashcroft shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morrow is trying to defend but Ashcroft finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Morrow looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ashcroft looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Morrow is pressing down on Ashcroft's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Morrow is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Morrow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ashcroft gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Morrow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ashcroft counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morrow's guard now. Ashcroft sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ashcroft makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ashcroft is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ashcroft content to stall in guard here. Morrow wants to stand up but Ashcroft is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ashcroft not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Alan Ashcroft has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Morrow moves away from the strike by Ashcroft. Morrow throws a right and a left that both miss. Ashcroft avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morrow throws a series of punches but Ashcroft avoids them all with ease. Morrow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ashcroft looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ashcroft is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Ashcroft has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Morrow managing to control the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Morrow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Alan Ashcroft dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Morrow throws a nice looking combination but Ashcroft bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jax Morrow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ashcroft fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A swing and a miss from Morrow. Ashcroft throws a jab when Morrow was well out of range. Ashcroft will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Morrow throws a right hand that Ashcroft ducks under and follows up with a left that Ashcroft also avoids with ease. Morrow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ashcroft. Ashcroft shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ashcroft tries to free his leg and advance position but Morrow is retaining full guard. Ashcroft seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ashcroft looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ashcroft gets to his feet. Morrow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Morrow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morrow closes the distance but Ashcroft moves to the side and Ashcroft counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Morrow! Ashcroft controlling from mount. Morrow keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ashcroft controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Alan Ashcroft has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Ashcroft takes one on the button. Ashcroft shoots in and drives through. Morrow sprawls well. Jax Morrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Ashcroft. A clash of legs there as Morrow blocks the low kick. Morrow misses with a two punch combination.
Morrow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ashcroft to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ashcroft content to stall in guard here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Alan Ashcroft showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ashcroft shoots in and bounces Morrow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ashcroft cracks Morrow with a solid left hand. Ashcroft passes into half guard. Alan Ashcroft has got the better of the ground game so far. Ashcroft is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Morrow sees it coming and defends easily. Morrow wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alan Ashcroft is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ashcroft just misses with a punch to the body.
Jax Morrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Morrow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ashcroft shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ashcroft showed some decent athleticism there. Morrow gets full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrow can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ashcroft controls the pace. Morrow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ashcroft controls from within his opponent's guard. Ashcroft pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morrow is keeping the position for now. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ashcroft stays in close to Morrow's body and controls the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alan Ashcroft wasn't active enough on the ground. Morrow looks to land a combination but Ashcroft avoids it well. Morrow avoids the head kick by Ashcroft.
Morrow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ashcroft. A punch combination from Morrow misses. Jax Morrow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Some wild striking there from Morrow.
Morrow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Morrow lands with an overhand left.
And that's the end of the fight! Alan Ashcroft comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ashcroft winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
