Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Omar Avelar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Mitchelll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchelll has chosen tyga-Faded / Rap/Dirty as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omar Avelar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodney Mitchelll!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mitchelll or perhaps it was just good defense by Avelar which made him look bad.
Mitchelll ducks right into an uppercut from Avelar.
Avelar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Avelar wants it to stay on the feet.
Mitchelll changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Avelar tries to avoid it but Mitchelll manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Avelar to the ground. Avelar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Omar Avelar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Mitchelll.
Avelar scores with a jab to the body.
Mitchelll on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Avelar.
Mitchelll takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mitchelll closes this distance looking for a takedown but Avelar circles away.
Mitchelll misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Avelar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mitchelll looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Avelar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mitchelll if he has to take too many more of those.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Avelar, right into the meat.
Mitchelll fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Avelar avoids it really well and circles away.
Avelar lands with a nice combination. Mitchelll backs away looking to recover.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Avelar lands a left and a right that send Mitchelll crashing to the mat, dazed. Avelar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Mitchelll is rocked!
Avelar cracks a nice hook into Mitchelll's ribs.
Mitchelll is still on wobbly legs! Can Avelar finish him?
Mitchelll is trying desperately to land a takedown but Avelar is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mitchelll.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Avelar cracks Mitchelll's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Mitchelll slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Avelar can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Omar Avelar!
A victorious Omar Avelar thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
