Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyro Pipes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris comes to the cage accompanied by Kane - No Surrender. Kyro Pipes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyro Pipes!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pipes checks a leg kick nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pipes is defended easily by Morris.
Morris scores with a nice strike.
Morris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Morris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pipes is trying to defend but Morris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pipes has hold of Morris's hands but Morris slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Morris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Morris is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pipes asserts his dominance and retains side control.

We're going to have a standup here because Frank Morris wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Pipes closes the distance and clinches up with Morris, looking for a takedown. Pipes pushes Morris against the cage but Morris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kyro Pipes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
