Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vladimir Bukharin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangulan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tim Mangulan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bukharin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mangulan to the mat! Mangulan manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bukharin connects with a couple of short punches.
Mangulan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bukharin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bukharin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bukharin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bukharin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bukharin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mangulan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bukharin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Bukharin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bukharin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bukharin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mangulan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bukharin yanks on the arm and Mangulan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bukharin.
