PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pico Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balian Of Ibelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balian Of Ibelin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Of Ibelin has Rodrigo up against the cage in a clinch.

Of Ibelin drags the fight down to the ground.

Rodrigo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rodrigo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodrigo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Of Ibelin is striking from the bottom but Rodrigo uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Of Ibelin wants to control but Rodrigo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Of Ibelin is trying to get back to full guard.

Rodrigo is working for a kimura here but Of Ibelin manages to reverse the position and he's now in Rodrigo's guard.
