Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Pashurinko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anton Pashurinko will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Pashurinko! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pashurinko shoots and misses and Miller counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Miller throws a poor cross that misses
so Pashurinko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Miller has his feet on Pashurinko's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Miller throws a shot to the body.
Pashurinko with a poor takedown and Miller counters with a straight right hand. Pashurinko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Miller to counter with a crisp jab. Chris Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Pashurinko. Miller misses with a hook. Pashurinko ducked under it nicely. The fighters circling - Miller throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pashurinko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Miller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pashurinko misses with a takedown attempt and Miller decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pashurinko's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Miller lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Miller throwing strikes from guard but Pashurinko blocks nicely. Miller with a nice head shot there. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pashurinko looking to control.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pashurinko's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pashurinko keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller distracts Pashurinko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Pashurinko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Miller throws a big elbow that misses. Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Miller wants to pass the guard but Pashurinko is keeping the position. Pashurinko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Miller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pashurinko. This has been an exciting period of action! Pashurinko holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Pashurinko taking a bit of punishment here - Miller scoring with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Miller seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Pashurinko is trying to get back to half guard. Pashurinko struggling a bit here. Pashurinko regains half guard, as Miller was trying to land strikes. Pashurinko tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pashurinko is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller prevents Pashurinko from improving his position. Miller throwing shots but Pashurinko is blocking nicely. Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller slips a nice elbow through Pashurinko's hands, connecting with Pashurinko's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Miller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pashurinko dives in and grabs Miller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes down on Pashurinko's head and hops out. Pashurinko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nice defenses there by Pashurinko. A left lands for Miller. Miller lands a nice shot to the body.
Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Miller tries to clinch there but Pashurinko circles away.
Pashurinko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miller circles away. Pashurinko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pashurinko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Miller counters with a straight right hand. Chris Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Pashurinko. Miller lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Miller misses with a hook. Miller misses with an uppercut. Pashurinko throws a hook to the side of Miller's head but Miller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pashurinko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Miller works his way to full guard. Good work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Miller with a flurry of punches that miss. Pashurinko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Pashurinko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pashurinko working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pashurinko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Miller throws a big right hand that misses. Chris Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pashurinko is trying to control the position but Miller postures up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Miller throws a big right hand that misses. Pashurinko looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Miller is defending well. Pashurinko quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Miller has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pashurinko celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
