Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pan Teon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vince Magalhaes! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Magalhaes moves away. Teon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magalhaes.
Teon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Magalhaes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Teon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Magalhaes eats them both and turns towards Teon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Teon lands with a nice body punch. Magalhaes gets a takedown into half guard. Magalhaes is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Magalhaes is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Teon to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Magalhaes prevents Teon from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magalhaes passes Teon's left leg - he's now in half guard. Magalhaes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Magalhaes prevents Teon from improving his position. Teon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Teon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magalhaes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Teon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Magalhaes. Magalhaes is keen to just control but Teon is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magalhaes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Teon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Teon is in trouble now - Magalhaes has advanced to mount! Magalhaes looking to ground and pound but Teon is blocking nicely. Magalhaes raining down shots from the mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Magalhaes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Teon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Magalhaes throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Teon has his hands clasped together but Magalhaes breaks the hold and Teon is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Magalhaes!
