Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stainz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fusshaa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Stainz stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Stainz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fusshaa avoids it really well and circles away.
Stainz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stainz stalling the fight.
Stainz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stainz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fusshaa dips to his left and cracks Stainz with an uppercut!
Stainz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fusshaa works Stainz's body with a nice hook.

and Stainz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fusshaa won't be happy with that.

Fusshaa is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stainz has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Stainz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fusshaa has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fusshaa tries to keep at a distance but Stainz has taken the fight into the clinch.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stainz holds on and takes a little breather.
Fusshaa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stainz is proving hard to escape from.

Fusshaa wants to stand and escape but instead Stainz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fusshaa wants to stand but Stainz is controlling the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stainz drops back looking for a leg! Fusshaa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fusshaa manages to kick Stainz off! Stainz jumps back into Fusshaa's guard.

Fusshaa is trying to get back to his feet.

Stainz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fusshaa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
A lull in the action here as Stainz stalls from top position.
Stainz tries for a kimura but Fusshaa is defending well.

Stainz has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Fusshaa is in a horrible position here. Stainz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Stainz is working for a guillotine from mount but Fusshaa frees his head quite easily.

Stainz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fusshaa because Stainz loaded up on that one.
Stainz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Fusshaa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stainz.
Stainz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Stainz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stainz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fusshaa's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Stainz throws some wild stikes that Fusshaa manages to avoid easily.
Stainz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fusshaa is looking to escape.

Stainz is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fusshaa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stainz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nan Fusshaa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Logan Stainz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fusshaa is looking to break free of the clinch but Stainz has double underhooks.
And that's the end of the fight!
Logan Stainz showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stainz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Logan Stainz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
