Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Negreanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Negreanu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Make Her Say - Kid Cudi kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid looks to land a right hand but Negreanu moved out of range.
Quid just misses with a punch to the body.
Negreanu wants to clinch.
Negreanu pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Quid back to the cage. Negreanu follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Quid moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Negreanu looks to throw the jab but Quid is out of range.
Quid bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Negreanu throws the kick towards the body but Quid avoids it.

Daniel Negreanu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quid connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Negreanu momentarily.

A low kick from Quid is predictable there
and Negreanu counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Quid closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Quid bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Negreanu's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Negreanu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Quid's head backwards.
Quid moves forwards but Negreanu connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Quid throws a looping overhand right but Negreanu ducks down to avoid it.
Negreanu jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Negreanu is looking to clinch.
A jab from Quid misses.
Quid lands a leg kick that knocks Negreanu off balance momentarily.
Negreanu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Quid connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Negreanu gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Quid counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Quid.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Quid thows a body shot but no joy.
Negreanu tries to close the distance and clinch but Quid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Quid connects with the punch.
A big left from Negreanu misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Quid will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Negreanu shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Negreanu lands a really nice looking cross but Quid seems unphased.
Quid lands a right hook to the body.
Negreanu misses with a body kick.
Quid misses with a series of wild punches.
Negreanu shoots in looking for a takedown. Quid tries to sprawl out of it but Negreanu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Quid feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Negreanus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Negreanu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Quid manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Quid has knocked Negreanu down with a huge combo! Quid steps away and waves a wobbly Negreanu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Quid throws an overhand right that drops Negreanu like a sack of potatoes! Quid dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
