Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conrad's entrance music is Rider Part II. A fine choice. Johnson has chosen East Bound And Down as his entrance music. Jack Conrad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Conrad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Randall Johnson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conrad as he jumps to the side. Johnson scores with a punch to the head. Conrad swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Johnson.
It looks like Randall Johnson has been cut. Conrad avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conrad is trying hard to land a takedown here. Johnson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Conrad closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Johnson.
It looks like Jack Conrad has been cut. A battle for position here, against the cage. Conrad throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Johnsons head. Johnson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Conrad lands on the inside with an uppercut. Conrad lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Conrad walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Conrad looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely. Conrad decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Conrad sits in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Conrad in particular looking to stall. Conrad passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson regains half guard, as Conrad was trying to land strikes. Conrad throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely. Conrad throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Johnson to regain full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Conrad passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conrad looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Conrad throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson trying to hold on to Conrad's head to control him but Conrad postures up.
Conrad is just content to waste time from the top position. Johnson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Conrad wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Conrad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conrad wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Conrad throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Conrad throws an elbow that misses. Johnson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Conrad's guard. Nice move by Johnson! Johnson trying to control but Conrad is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Conrad dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johnson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Conrad with a jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Johnson. Conrad stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Conrad wants it to stay on the feet. Johnson gets a clinch. Johnson lands a body punch in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Johnson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Conrad prevents a body shot from Johnson. Conrad has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Johnson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Johnson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Conrad misses with a hook to the ribs.
Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Conrad on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson misses with a low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Conrad. Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Conrad sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Conrad avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson is looking to land body kicks. Conrad swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Johnson tries to clinch but Conrad moves out of range. Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Conrad finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conrad paws at him with a jab and circles away. Conrad connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Conrad moves out of range as Johnson throws a body kick.
Conrad changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conrad sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Johnson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Johnson parries the strikes from Conrad easily there. Conrad is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johnson to escape.
Conrad throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Johnson works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Conrad thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Conrad not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying to hold on to Conrad's head to control him but Conrad postures up.
Conrad tries to pass to full mount but Johnson defends it. Johnson tries to kick Conrad off but Conrad keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Conrad prevents Johnson from improving his position. Conrad missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conrad thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jack Conrad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Conrad lands with a punch from half guard. Conrad looks to land a strike but Johnson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Conrad from controlling successfully. Conrad is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Conrad trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson walks into a straight right hand from Conrad. Johnson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Conrad on his heels. He'll look to pass Conrad's guard now, I'm sure. Johnson throws a big right hand that misses. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Conrad has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Conrad's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Conrad lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson! Johnson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Conrad tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Conrad landing shots from mount. Conrad with shots to the head and body - Johnson looks very uncomfortable down there. Conrad throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Johnson wants to control but Conrad is having none of it. Jack Conrad is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conrad tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Conrad looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Conrad takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Conrad. Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Conrad.
Conrad tries to clinch up. Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Conrad manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Conrad is controlling him. Randall Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A frustrated look appears on Johnson's face as he tries to break the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson is trying to force a seperation but Conrad has the dominant position. Johnson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Conrad avoids it. Johnson looking to throw knees to the head but Conrad is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Conrad showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conrad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
