Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hmmm... Interesting.... Norman Bates is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Bates!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloppy strikes from Moss. Those never looked like landing.
Moss misses with a takedown
letting Bates counter with a right hand.
Billy Moss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moss is defended easily by Bates.
Bates punishes Moss's body with a nice straight punch.
Bates cracks Moss with a right hand to the side of the head.
No joy there for Bates, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bates counters with a stiff right hand.
Moss is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Moss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bates throws a monster overhand right that drops Moss! Bates follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Bates!
Norman Bates really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Perkele! logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
