Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Rexum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruno Ferro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arthur Rexum! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ferro throws a right hand that Rexum ducks under and follows up with a left that Rexum also avoids with ease. Rexum shoots in for a double leg but Ferro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ferro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rexum will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ferro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rexum as he avoids it easily. Rexum is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ferro. Rexum misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ferro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rexum doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ferro counters with a three punch combo that has Rexum backing up. Rexum nods at Ferro to acknowledge the strikes. Bruno Ferro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Rexum. Ferro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rexum shoots in but no luck this time. Ferro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rexum. Rexum misses with a two punch combination.

Ferro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rexum manages to get back to half guard. Rexum wants to get back to full guard. Ferro is looking for a kimura here.
Ferro is looking to advance position but Rexum won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rexum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ferro is working away from the top position though. Ferro is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Rexum as he works his way to full guard.
Ferro postures up and lands a big shot to Rexum's brow. Ferro trying to move into half guard but instead Rexum has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rexum looking to pass the guard. Ferro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rexum defends well. Rexum postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rexum pushes down on Ferro's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rexum seems to be working for a kimura but Ferro defends the submission attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rexum is working for a kimura but Ferro is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Ferro will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ferro shoots in but Rexum avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ferro misses with a takedown attempt and Rexum counters with a straight right hand. Ferro blocks a jab. Rexum with a lazy takedown attempt and Ferro counters with a thumping low kick. That kick from Ferro tenderised Rexum's leg. Rexum is trying to keep his angry face on. Ferro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rexum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rexum is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ferro's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rexum makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rexum. Rexum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rexum looking to control.
Ferro content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rexum is looking for a triangle here but Ferro uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferro is chipping away with strikes.
Ferro scores with punches from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Rexum gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Ferro lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ferro postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rexum badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ferro around the waist but Ferro pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ferro is the winner by TKO! Ferro jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Ferro! Bruno Ferro was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
