Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins clinches up against the cage.
Jenkins prevents the takedown attempt.
Ortiz tries to score a body lock takedown but Jenkins shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jenkins tries to pull guard but Ortiz holds him up against the cage and eventually Jenkins drops back down to his feet.

Ortiz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Ortiz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jenkins regains guard immediately.

Jenkins manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Jenkins has managed to clinch.

Ortiz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jenkins can't fight it off and eventually Ortiz manages to take the fight to the floor. Jenkins looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ortiz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ortiz wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Ortiz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins wants to stand but Ortiz is controlling the position.
Jenkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ortiz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Ortiz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ortiz stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Jenkins has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Ortiz manages to get his head free but now Jenkins has transitioned to an armbar! Ortiz grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jenkins! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
