Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Deck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Shimazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Glenn Deck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, William Shimazu! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deck throws out a loose jab but Shimazu uses good head movement to avoid it. A big right from Deck misses. Shimazu avoids the head kick by Deck.
Deck misses with a head kick.
Deck clinches. Deck lands a right hand. Deck misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Shimazu.
A head punch on the inside from Shimazu fails to land. Shimazu managing to block the knees to the body from Deck.
Shimazu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Deck is defending well for now. Shimazu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Deck moves out of range of the body kick. Deck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Glenn Deck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shimazu slips a straight right by Deck. Shimazu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Deck misses with a straight left. Deck swings widly with a right hand
and Shimazu counters with a nice low kick that buckles Deck's knee momentarily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shimazu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Deck. Deck is breathing heavily. Shimazu lands a leg kick that knocks Deck off balance momentarily. Shimazu thuds his right hand into Deck's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Glenn Deck has been cut. Shimazu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Shimazu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Deck doesn't seem phased though. Shimazu avoids the head kick by Deck.
Shimazu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Deck's guard. Shimazu missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Deck keeping moving, preventing Shimazu from controlling successfully. Shimazu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Deck kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Shimazu wants to pass the guard but Deck is keeping the position. Shimazu wants to stand but Deck is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shimazu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by William Shimazu. A head kick misses from Deck. Deck wants to clinch up but Shimazu keeps it at a distance. Shimazu connects with an inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shimazu blocks a head kick by Deck.
Deck throws a sloppy head kick and Shimazu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A nice leg kick lands there from Shimazu. Shimazu has a takedown stuffed. Deck misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Deck misses the target. Deck throws out a loose jab but Shimazu uses good head movement to avoid it. Deck looks to land a body kick but Shimazu moved away. Shimazu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Deck sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Shimazu delivers a nice body kick. Shimazu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Deck's calf. Shimazu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Deck's head. Deck steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shimazu. That one must have hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shimazu lands with a good body shot. Shimazu thumps Deck with a low kick. A solid body kick from Shimazu. Shimazu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Deck circles away. Glenn Deck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Shimazu. Shimazu scoring well with a low kick there.
Shimazu fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Shimazu jabs at Deck's body. Shimazu lands a jab to Deck's midsection. Shimazu throws a wild body kick that Deck sees coming a mile off.

Shimazu throws a leg kick which misses Deck's front leg but catches the back leg as Deck tries to avoid it. A good leg kick by Shimazu. Shimazu keeps Deck at a distance using the push kick. Shimazu lets loose with a powerful body kick. Deck will feel that in the morning. Shimazu throws a head kick but Deck moves out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head kick from Shimazu lands but Deck takes it in his stride. Shimazu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Shimazu lands a nice shot to the body.
Deck chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shimazu can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Shimazu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Glenn Deck's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Shimazu moves into range and connects with a jab. Shimazu just misses with a punch to the body.
William Shimazu seems to be getting the better of the standup. Shimazu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Deck. Shimazu throws a body kick that misses. Deck walks into a jab. Shimazu thows a body shot but no joy. Deck pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Shimazu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Deck throws a looping overhand right but Shimazu ducks down to avoid it. Shimazu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Deck rather than just go for the knockout. Shimazu lands with a shot to the body. A punch lands to the side of Deck 's head but he takes it in his stride. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Deck looks to land a combination but Shimazu avoids it well. A big left from Deck misses. Deck takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. An inside leg kick lands from Shimazu. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shimazu misses with a body shot.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Shimazu. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

and Shimazu counters with a thumping low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Shimazu thuds a left hand into Deck's body. Shimazu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Deck throws a head kick that misses and Shimazu counters with a good low kick that Deck was not able to check. Shimazu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Shimazu scores with a push kick. Deck drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Deck will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Both fighters circling a little - Shimazu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Deck takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Shimazu throws a front kick that sends Deck stumbling back into the cage. A solid leg kick lands there for Shimazu.

Shimazu lands a front kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shimazu. Deck takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Good leg kick by Shimazu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Deck throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Shimazu makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Deck really felt that one! Shimazu shoots for a double leg takedown but Deck sprawls well. He's pushed Shimazu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Deck throws a right hand that misses
and Shimazu counters with a solid body kick. Shimazu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Deck's half guard. Shimazu moves nicely into side control. Shimazu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! William Shimazu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Glenn Deck's cut. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Deck crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shimazu - the referee stops the clock and Deck gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shimazu. Deck manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Shimazu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Deck takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Shimazu misses with a body kick. Deck takes one to the side of the head.
Deck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shimazu circles away quickly and effectively. Deck takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Deck throws a lazy head kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Shimazu feints and as Deck raises his hands in defense, Shimazu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Deck is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Glenn Deck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shimazu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! William Shimazu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shimazu winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
