Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Yellow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Jackson shoots for a takedown but Yellow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.
Yellow shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Yellow sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson tries to land a front kick but Yellow steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Yellow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.

Yellow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Yellow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Yellow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Yellow is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Yellow loses concentration momentarily and Jackson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Yellow crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jackson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

A relieved looking Alex Jackson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
