Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Snoop DoGG as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey scores with a hook.
Ivey lands a body shot.
Davis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ivey throws a jab when Davis was well out of range.
Davis has his takedown stuffed
and Ivey counters with an inside leg kick.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Ivey, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Ivey against the cage but Ivey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Davis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Davis moves out of range as Ivey throws a body kick.
Ivey stuffs the takedown attempt from Davis. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.

Davis tries to keep at a distance but Ivey has taken the fight into the clinch.

Davis is looking to take this one to the mat.

Davis has Ivey pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Davis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ivey tumbling to the mat - Davis dives into Ivey's guard.

Ivey pulls Davis in close to his closed guard and prevents Davis from doing any damage or advancing position.
Davis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ivey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ivey has escaped and now he's on top!

and Ivey makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ivey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Davis's head backwards.

Ivey throws a leg kick which misses Davis's front leg but catches the back leg as Davis tries to avoid it.
Davis shoots in for a takedown but Ivey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ivey gets caught flat footed, as Davis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davis has gone for a leg lock! Ivey slips out almost immediately though and dives into Davis's guard.
Davis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivey connects with a leg kick. Davis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Davis shoots in for a takedown but Ivey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Davis shoots in looking for a takedown. Ivey tries to sprawl out of it but Davis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ivey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ivey as he jumps to the side.

and Davis counters with a shoot takedown. Ivey fights it but they end up in guard.

Davis pushes down on Ivey's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Davis is working for a submission of some sort.
Davis is trying to work for a kimura but Ivey is defending well.

Davis maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ivey could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Davis has cracked it and Ivey is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Davis!
