Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Dobbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Dobbins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries to bum rush Dobbins with a series of wild strikes but Dobbins uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee stuffs the takedown. Dobbins wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Lee cracks Dobbins with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dobbins looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lee finish him?
Dobbins is rocked! Lee blocks a jab. Oh Dobbins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dobbins slips under a jab from Lee. Dobbins throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dobbins wants to land a leg kick but Lee is out of range. Dobbins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Dobbins persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dobbins seems to have got his legs back now. Lee blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dobbins. Dobbins is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dobbins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dobbins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lee is looking to improve his position.
Lee trying to get back to full guard but Dobbins takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dobbins thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dobbins has control of Lee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dobbins wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobbins is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lee is surviving well by controlling Dobbins's body position as best he can. Dobbins tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dobbins unloads with some shots from mount but Lee bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dobbins looking to control but Lee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rufus Lee will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Lee cracks Dobbins with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lee has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dobbins to stand back up!
It looks like Tom Dobbins has been cut. Dobbins moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. Lee throws a hook but Dobbins avoids it easily. Dobbins misses with a looping left. Nice sprawl there from Lee as Dobbins shoots in. Horrible takedown by Dobbins or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad. Dobbins is holding his hands too far apart here. Lee throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Dobbins is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
