A fine choice. Cummings is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Misfits - Die Die My Darling . Tj Cummings has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jack Tripper's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings misses the shot to the body.
Tripper avoids the body shot from Cummings.
Cummings takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cummings lands a big head kick that sends Tripper tumbling to the mat! Cummings takes a step backwards and waves Tripper back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cummings throws a poor cross that misses
and Tripper counters with a stiff right hand.
Tripper lands with a hook. Cummings tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cummings throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tj Cummings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cummings jabs Tripper to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Cummings walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tripper checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cummings throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tripper frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cummings wants to control but Tripper is having none of it.
Tripper moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cummings has worked his arm free - good work by Cummings!

Tripper prevents Cummings from escaping the position.

Tripper moves into full mount!
Cummings in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Tripper has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Tripper unloads with some shots from mount but Cummings bucks and avoids them well.
Tripper looking to land elbow strikes but Cummings uses the position to regain half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tripper not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Tripper will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tripper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cummings doesn't seem bothered though.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tj Cummings's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
