Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Matters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Argos Bloodfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Matters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Argos Bloodfist!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bloodfist stuffs the takedown attempt from Matters. Matters gets slowly back to his feet.
Matters circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bloodfist should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bloodfist drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bloodfist trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Matters is trying to control the position but Bloodfist postures up.
Matters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Matters wants to stand but Bloodfist is controlling the position.

Bloodfist gets to his feet - Matters follows without any prompting.
Bloodfist moves in looking to clinch but Matters pushes him off.

Bloodfist tries to keep at a distance but Matters has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bloodfist swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bloodfist is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Matters is keeping busy.
Matters blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bloodfist is looking to break free of the clinch but Matters has double underhooks.

Matters breaks from the clinch.
Matters misses with a takedown

and Bloodfist counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Matters. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Matters is looking to get back to his feet here but Bloodfist is keeping cool and he's managed to take Matters's back.
Matters can't escape the position.
Bloodfist biding his time, looking for the opening.
Matters tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Bloodfist looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Matters is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Bloodfist has taken his back.

Bloodfist has his arm under Matters's chin here. Game over son! Bloodfist squeezes tightly and Matters is forced to tap out!
