Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Roberts! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt keeps the fight on the outside. Roberts tries to keep at a distance but Dirt has taken the fight into the clinch. Roberts wants to break the clinch but can't.
Roberts drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dirt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chuck Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dirt misses with a few strikes there.
Roberts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Roberts tries to clinch but Dirt is having none of it. Roberts slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Roberts takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Dirt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roberts shoots in for a double leg but Dirt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Roberts tries to clinch up. Dirt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roberts pinned against the cage. Roberts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A combination from Dirt does no damage. Dirt stuffs the takedown. Joe Dirt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Roberts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts scores with a hook to the body. Dirt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dirt tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dirt to the ground. Dirt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roberts fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nice defenses there by Roberts. Roberts fails in his attempt to clinch. Roberts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Roberts tries to clinch up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberts is defended easily by Dirt. Roberts looks gassed! Dirt misses with a straight right. Roberts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dirt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roberts somewhat. Dirt instigates a clinch. Dirt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dirt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roberts's waist but Roberts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dirt off to one side. Roberts lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dirt feints and as Roberts raises his hands in defense, Dirt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dirt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roberts is keeping the position for now. Dirt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dirt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dirt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roberts is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dirt, into his guard. Roberts wants to get up but he can't break Dirt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts pushes down on Dirt's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roberts is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dirt has managed to free his arm - good work. Roberts throwing shots but Dirt is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirt is looking for a sweep. Roberts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Roberts is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Roberts thows a huge punch but Dirt dodges it nicely.
Roberts is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roberts wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Dirt uses the opportunity to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Roberts dominated that round. That's time! Dirt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Roberts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Roberts there as he acknowledges the shot. Roberts digs a good hook to Dirt's body.
Roberts connects with a right hand. Dirt shakes it off. Roberts shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Roberts is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Roberts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dirt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Roberts missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Roberts controlling the action here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chuck Roberts was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dirt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roberts. Dirt clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts wants to get back to striking at distance but Dirt won't allow it.

Roberts connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dirt. Dirt circles away out of range and recomposes himself. No luck with that takedown attempt from Roberts. Roberts is breathing heavily. Roberts's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dirt under the eye. Dirt looks to throw the jab but Roberts is out of range. Roberts with a lazy takedown attempt and Dirt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Joe Dirt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Roberts. A combination from Roberts does no damage. Joe Dirt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dirt shoots in and gets a takedown into Roberts's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dirt drops back for a leg! Dirt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Roberts manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dirt has Roberts in his guard. Roberts wants to control from the top but Dirt keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Roberts takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Roberts wants to stand but Dirt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

No, Roberts has managed to get both his arms back between Dirt's legs - danger averted. Chuck Roberts has got the better of the ground game so far. OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Roberts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Good shot there by Roberts. Chuck Roberts seems to be getting the better of the standup. Roberts throws a combination. Dirt tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Roberts wants to clinch. The fighters circling - Dirt throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Roberts cracks Dirt with a good jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dirt is defended easily by Roberts. Dirt takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dirt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dirt wants to pass the guard but Roberts is keeping the position. Roberts pulls Dirt in close to his closed guard and prevents Dirt from doing any damage or advancing position. Dirt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roberts is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dirt, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Dirt is keeping the position. Dirt looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Roberts has picked Dirt up and slammed him! Dirt can't keep hold of the triangle and Roberts manages to pass to side control! Joe Dirt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dirt dodges the ground and pound from Roberts.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Roberts winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
