Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casy Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Carver's choice of entrance music: Nickelback- S.E.X. Sam Fisher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Casy Carver! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Carver gets a clinch. Carver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carver looks to land a combination. Fisher sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Carver tries to clinch but Fisher is having none of it. Fisher drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carver avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fisher. Fisher trying to control the position but Carver is working away. Carver pushes Fisher away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fisher gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Carver takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carver keeps working. Fisher lands some shots froms side control. Fisher fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Carver is looking to reverse the position. Fisher trying to control the position but Carver is working away. Carver is trying to escape the position but Fisher is controlling the position. An elbow from Fisher crashes against the mat.
Fisher creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Carver is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fisher has just dragged him back down to the mat. Carver manages to get back to half guard. Fisher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver is looking to control Fisher's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carver avoid being mounted? Fisher missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fisher is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Carver! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fisher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Fisher lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Carver is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fisher pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fisher working Carver over with strikes here. Fisher lands a big elbow. Fisher working the ground and pound effectively.
Fisher scoring with strikes but Carver is staying in there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's four minutes gone in the round. Fisher raining down hammerfists from mount. Fisher scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Carver?
Fisher prevents Carver from getting the reversal. Carver takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fisher is landing with some decent strikes but Carver is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fisher postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Carver looks a forlorn figure.
Fisher landing strikes from the mount and Carver is in trouble! Carver looks gassed! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big strike lands for Fisher! That's really hurt Carver and he's turned his back - Fisher keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Fisher jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Fisher!
