The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zdorovenniy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Chernat counters with an outside leg kick.
Zdorovenniy tries to clinch up.
Chernat keeps the fight on the outside.
Zdorovenniy drives through and clinches with Chernat against the cage.
Zdorovenniy scores a nice knee to the body.
Zdorovenniy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Chernat blocks it with crossed arms.
Chernat wants to get back to striking at distance but Zdorovenniy won't allow it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Zdorovenniy.
It looks like Florin Chernat has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zdorovenniy lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Zdorovenniy digs a right hand underneath Chernat's ribcage. Chernat let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Chernat is breathing heavily.
Zdorovenniy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chernat has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Zdorovenniy avoids the elbow strike from Chernat, against the cage.
Chernat takes an elbow to the forehead.
Chernat takes a shot to the head.
Florin Chernat's cut is getting worse.
Zdorovenniy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zdorovenniy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Chernat throws a head punch that misses.

Florin Chernat's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Zdorovenniy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chernats head.

Zdorovenniy works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chernat can't break the clinch.
Zdorovenniy throws a big uppercut that drops Chernat! More strikes from Zdorovenniy and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Chernat lies dazed against the cage as Zdorovenniy celebrates with his cornermen!
