The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Simpleton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Heller connects with a body shot.
Frankie Simpleton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heller on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Heller gets the takedown into side control.
Simpleton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Simpleton is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Heller off and has taken his back!
Heller can't escape the position.
Heller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Simpleton is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Heller is defending well though. Simpleton let's go of the attempt for now.
