Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLane fails to land with a series of punches.
Fitch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McLane counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fitch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McLane counters by moving into the clinch.
McLane gets control of Fitch's arms and successfully pulls guard. McLane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fitch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McLane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fitch has McLane in his guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fitch looking for a guillotine here but McLane defends easily.
McLane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fitch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McLane forces his way into half guard.

McLane trying to mount his opponent but Fitch defends it.
Fitch is staying active underneath McLane, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
McLane tries to pass to full mount but Fitch defends it.

Fitch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McLane pulls his head out easily.
McLane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McLane sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fitch defending well though.
McLane is trying to control the action in half guard but Fitch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fitch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McLane pulls his head out easily.
McLane frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McLane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
