Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Wallsall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallsall misses with a double jab.
Montgomery clinches up against the cage.
Wallsall has hold of one of Montgomery's legs. Montgomery is fighting the takedown attempt but Wallsall gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Wallsall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Montgomery tries to avoid it but Wallsall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Montgomery to the ground. Montgomery escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallsall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Montgomery has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wallsall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wallsall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wallsall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
