Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between So Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolla has chosen Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, So Hai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adam Carolla! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carolla pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hai back to the cage. Carolla follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Carolla feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hais jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hai avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carolla swings for the body but Hai moves out of range.
Carolla throws a right and a left that Hai avoids nicely. Hai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Carolla throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Carolla throws a right hand that Hai ducks under and follows up with a left that Hai also avoids with ease. Carolla ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Carolla misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carolla is fending him off so far but Hai persists. Nope, Carolla circles away and we're back to standing. Carolla cracks Hai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Carolla throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hai shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carolla's guard. Carolla is adopting a defensive guard. Hai missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hai throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Carolla keeping moving, preventing Hai from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hai with a flurry of punches that miss. Hai pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carolla is keeping the position for now. Hai scoring with punches to the head and body. Hai looking to sit in guard and control but Carolla gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hai is looking for a triangle but Carolla pushes his legs off easily.
Hai wants to sweep here but Carolla controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hai controls Carolla momentarily but Carolla frees himself. Hai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carolla defends it easily. Carolla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carolla trying to control the position from guard on top but Hai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carolla pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hai is keeping the position for now. Carolla won't allow Hai to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carolla trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carolla is one step ahead there. Carolla trying to control the position from guard on top but Hai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carolla tries to stand but Hai is controlling from the bottom. Hai trying to keep a closed guard but Carolla is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hai isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Carolla stacks Hai on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Carolla! Hai tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that So Hai will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Carolla misses with a straight right. Hai has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hai there as he acknowledges the shot. Carolla is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Carolla uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hai.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Hai. Carolla staying out of range there. Hai shoots in but Carolla avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carolla darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Adam Carolla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carolla throws a hook but Hai avoids it easily. Carolla bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hai's head. A looping hook to the body misses from Carolla. Hai does a little dance to reset his feet. Carolla throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carolla just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hai walks into a jab. Carolla jabs Hai to the body, keeping him at a distance. Carolla thows a left - swing and a miss! Hai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carolla has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Carolla wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Carolla ducks under a wild hook from Hai. Carolla takes a swing at Hai's ribcage but misses. Carolla misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carolla throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hai on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carolla. Hai dodges the punch combination from Carolla.
Hai misses with a body shot.
Hai takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Carolla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hai avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Adam Carolla seems to be getting the better of the standup. Carolla lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hai fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for So Hai. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hai scores with a leg kick.
Hai has a takedown stuffed. A telegraphed right hand from Carolla misses the target. Adam Carolla is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hai avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carolla misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hai.

Carolla looks to land a combination but Hai avoids it well. Carolla connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hai momentarily.
Hai tries to work over Carolla's front leg with a kick but Carolla checks it. Hai on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hai closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carolla did well to prevent Hai getting side control. Hai wants to work for an arm triangle but Carolla is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hai is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Carolla as he works his way to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hai looking to sit in guard and control but Carolla gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hai keeping moving, preventing Carolla from controlling successfully. Carolla stopping the sweep attempt from Hai. Carolla wants to get up but he can't break Hai's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hai is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hai wants to sweep here but Carolla controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hai wants to improve his position but instead Carolla has moved into half guard.
Hai slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Carolla stopping the sweep attempt from Hai. Carolla tries to stand but Hai is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carolla's guard. Hai controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hai wants to control from the top but Carolla keeps moving. Hai engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hai is looking to advance position but Carolla has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to So Hai. I think Hai has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
