The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paiaaua closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Almeida fails to land.
Paiaaua wants to take the fight to the mat but Almeida manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Paiaaua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Almeida sprawls well. Almeida wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paiaaua gets slowly back to his feet.

Paiaaua is trying to pull guard but Almeida has him pressed against the cage.
Paiaaua tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Almeida smiles and moves away.
Almeida tries to close the distance and clinch but Paiaaua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Almeida lands a big right hand that drops Paiaaua! The killer instinct kicks in and Almeida finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Almeida!
