Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Funktastic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayo Anoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anoy has chosen Massive Attack - Teardrop as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Funktastic misses.
Nice defenses there by Anoy.
Funktastic keeps the fight on the outside.
Funktastic on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Funktastic moves out of range of the strikes.
Anoy moves in looking to clinch but Funktastic pushes him off.
Anoy wants to clinch

Anoy tries to close the distance and clinch but Funktastic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Anoy tries to lock up and control but Funktastic gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Anoy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Funktastic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Funktastic is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Anoy off and has taken his back!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Funktastic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anoy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Funktastic has managed to get both his arms back between Anoy's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Mr Funktastic will probably get the nod.

Anoy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Funktastic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Funktastic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anoy's guard.
Anoy wants to improve his position but Funktastic is controlling well.
Mr Funktastic overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
